Charles "Ed" Brown

Partner - Criminal Law, Traffic
Ed Brown is a principle partner in Brown & Brown. Ed concentrates on Brown & Brown's Criminal Law and Traffic cases. 

Ed started his career in law by working for Citicorp and as a Law Clerk with the Illinois 5th District Appellate Court. Ed then came back to St. Louis, where he joined his brother Dan and formed Brown & Brown in 1993. Ed is a fluent speaker of Russian and outside of the office enjoys several sports and spending time with his wife and daughter.

Since forming Brown & Brown in 1993, Ed has handled thousands of traffic tickets and criminal cases.

Dan Brown

Partner - Personal Injury, Workers Compensation
Daniel Brown is a principle partner in Brown & Brown. Dan concentrates on Brown & Brown's Personal injury and workers compensation cases. 

Dan started his career in law by working for the prosecuting attorneys' office in downtown Chicago, Illinois, where he tried over 100 cases. Dan then came back to St. Louis, where he joined his brother Ed and formed Brown & Brown in 1993.

Since forming Brown & Brown in 1993, Dan has handled several thousand workers compensation and personal injury cases. Outside of the office, Dan spends time with his wife of nine years, Maria, and their three girls, Isabella (7), Louisa (5) and Victoria (1).

Ely Hadowsky

Senior Associate - Personal Injury, Workers Compensation
Ely Hadowsky has been with Brown & Brown since 2000. Ely specializes in trial practice and takes many of our personal injury cases to trial. 

In addition to Ely's litigation practice he handles workers compensation, traffic and criminal matters for the firm. Outside of the office, Ely spends time with this wife of four years and their daughter.

Kris Boevingloh

Associate - Personal Injury, Workers Compensation
Kris Boevingloh is the newest member of our team. Kris concentrates on Brown & Brown's personal injury and workers compensation cases. 

While in Law School Kris worked for the Missouri Supreme Court, Boone County Prosecuting Attorneys' Office and Westlaw. 

Since coming to Brown & Brown in 2004, Kris has handled workers compensation and personal injury cases. Outside of the office, Kris spends time with his wife of two years.

Jennifer Girard

Legal Secretary - Office Manager
Jennifer Girard has been with Brown & Brown since 1998. Jennifer takes care of the daily needs of the whole office. In addition to her duties as office manager Jennifer works on many of Brown & Brown's workers compensation and personal injury cases.

Jennifer is an avid travel and enjoys spending time with her family. 

Sharon Davis

Legal Secretary
Sharon Davis has been with Brown & Brown since 2000. Sharon specializes in litigation preparation, including preparing for depositions, interrogatories and trial. 

Outside of the office Sharon spends time with her three children and three grandchildren.

Bill Brown

Bill Brown has been with Brown & Brown since 2001. Bill is often on the road meeting new clients and helping them through the initial sign up process. 

Bill is also in charge of Brown & Brown investigative work. 

Carol Kempf

Receptionist
Carol Kempf has been with Brown & Brown since 2002. Carol is the first contact many people have with Brown and Brown. Her voice is a familiar sound to many of our clients. 

Carol loves to travel and boat in her free time. She also spends time with her three children and three grandchildren.
